Respite
We all need a break occasionally, a chance to lie back with our feet up and let someone else do all the hard work for a while. That's what respite care is all about, a chance for people with MS and their carers to take a break.
Where Can I Go?
The MS Society runs two respite care homes: Leuchie in North Berwick and Woodlands in York. Both are in easy travelling distance from the branch and both are easily accessible.

How Much Does It Cost?
The costs of respite care can be expensive. So, with that in mind, the South East Northumberland Branch, and other organisations in the region, are here to help you meet those costs where ever we can.
